Danash and Liz have a career conversation with Eli, Juju, Eli and Eppie (lol). The girls were funny, sleepy and distracted which made us laugh quite a lot. There is a special appearance by Alex (Juju's dad) and watching the video is encouraged for this episode as you might not be able to understand some points without it. Mamish podcast is a collection of conversations from the perspective of both adults and kids. Heart to Heart episodes refer to our adult hosts sharing life experiences and expectations of the future while the Kid Interview focus on the child perspectives.

Most episodes are bilingual in English and Spanish. We naturally change languages without noticing so we encourage you to watch on YouTube if you need subtitles. We wish we could offer it in more languages and make it accessible to all – a goal for the future.

Our goal with this podcast was:

• to inspire others going through similar experiences or difficult times to never give up
• to encourage younger generations to enjoy life, learn and be proud of who they are. No one is perfect and making mistakes is part of living and learning
• to be proud of themselves for what they have achieved
• to love themselves and life as it comes

Hosts, Danash, Liz and Lyann are half sisters and live in 3 different states in USA. Being thousands of miles away made it difficult to keep up with each others lives – a reality for many families –

In an attempt to maintain a relationship between sisters, nieces & nephew this podcast was born. As we chatted, we noticed we wanted to help our past selves. As women, parents and members of minority communities we wanted to encourage others to enjoy their lives regardless of these challenges and know that regardless of the path, challenges are a part of life.

We worked on new episodes with guests from different backgrounds to inspire you to live your best life and give voice to others but these never made it out of editing.

Since we started the podcast with weekly episodes, work and medical challenges arose and like life, things changed. We took a haitus due to Lyann having major surgery but we never got back to our routine. Mamish went offline on October 2022. Even though our podcast journey didn’t go as we initially planned, our goals remain.

We hope you enjoy our rambling and laugh with us (because that’s the best therapy)
